At the age of 8 years old, I tragically lost my father to a climbing accident on Mount Rainier. I spent much of my youth pouring over photos of my dad, knowing the memories held in them were all I had left. I was so thankful to grow up in a home where everything was documented. My parents at the time had no idea how special or important each individual photograph would become to us as a family. As I grew older, I always held a passion for photos, and how significant they were. They are time capsules, full of emotion and our life story. At 22, I began working as the Communications Director for my local church, and photography was part of the job description. I started taking photos at every event, poured myself into editing softwares, learned from professionals, and honed what would become a sacred craft. From there, I started branching out and taking photos for friends and family until I felt confident as a professional myself. 6 years of experience later, and I am deeply in love with this art form. Every photoshoot is full of intentionality, emotion, and meaning. I know that for every photograph I deliver, I have no idea how special those might be to someone 5, 10, 50 years from now. My goal is not to give you something trendy for my Instagram, but something you can hold close to your heart for decades, print and hang on your walls, fill albums with, and break into a smile every time you view them. I believe in vibrant colors, raw emotion, and rich memories. I would love to be a part of your story, and capture life’s most precious moments.
